Heartstone

heartstone_white_shadow_txt

Come and take a journey with me through the pages of my personal failure, defeat, lost expectations, and my final devastation. Heartstone is a story about a people who faced the giants that we all face, and the keys God gave them (and has given each of us) to deal with those giants and turn theirs and our broken solitude into a field of dreams.

Heartstone is a journey of destiny, a story of a life turned upside-down for the best possible reason. Step into the story and discover what happens when a broken life has a head on collision with a broken world!

The truth of God’s word is that He has already written the story of your life. It is time for you to read that story and find your road home. God’s truth is that He has a plan for you that is good and not for evil. A plan where you win in the end.

Let Heartstone be the beginning of your journey home. This time the happy ending will be your own.

He wants you to have a beautiful ending!

What people are saying…

Life can often present us with circumstances we never anticipated. The unfortunate truth is that we all have to navigate these difficult seasons with little understanding, not much experience, and a willingness to learn more about ourselves than we wanted to know. Tim Young has given us a transparent view, through Heartstone, outlining many of these moments in his own life, with the hope that his chronicled journey will enlighten our own. This book is more than a good read, a gift for a hurting friend, or an outline of someone else’s life with another happy ending; it is a resource for daily life, with lessons that go beyond any individual circumstance. Debra and I are thrilled to recommend both the book and the author to you.

"Heartstone" is a must read book for all Christians. Do you ever wonder why we, as Christians, suffer pain and heartache? Tim Young was granted courage from God to share his story of heartache and suffering in order to provide the answer to that question. For of inspiration and God's truth, "Heartstone" will help you find the way to healing through God. Mr. Young does a masterful job of presenting the truth of Scripture in a kind and gentle way that will be understood by even the newest Christian. A job well done.
— Sheila Rae Myers, Author —
Tim Young is very transparent in sharing all that he went through in a very dark time of his life. His book became a devotional guide for me. Tim shares his relationship with Christ as he travels through the various levels of his journey into the light. You will find much to glean from his experience. What he learns may very well keep you from going into such a valley.

It truly has been one of the most unique reads I've read on in a while, and think people will appreciate it, plus I know the challenges authors face with self-publishing. If there's five really good books I've read in the last year, yours is up there and people should at least get their hands on it.
— Steve Bremner, Missionary to Peru —
You have really captured what the Lord is saying and wanting to do in the hearts of His children right now! The book is and will be a blessing to the body for years to come.

We've all heard that the best things in life are found when we focus less on the destination, and more on the journey. There is no shortage of 'stop and smell the roses' stories. Well, this is not one of those stories. Rather, Heartstone is an invitation to take a journey with a man who traveled a path many of us either have taken or have nearly taken -- a path of heartache, loss, regret and missed opportunity. In Heartstone, Tim Young bares his soul, almost literally, on the page. (One could argue that he bared it, quite literally, to God, as he searched for meaning in his life as a Christian who made some mistakes and learned firsthand the law of reaping and sowing, all too painfully.)

This book was so wonderfully written. Its about a person who faces odds that most people do in our life's, including getting to involved in to our daily life's and we do not stop and think why we are there and how. This is such a heart warming book that meshed so well with my life right now. It has taught me never to forget that no matter how down on you luck or how high on your luck God is always there with us guiding us and watching over us. I am so touched and thankful for finding this book. Thank you Tim Young for such a wonderful book..God Bless

This book isn't just about pain though. It's more about hope than pain. Hope that can be found when you allow God to heal wounds that have been brought upon you. Hope that comes when you allow God to heal wounds that you have brought upon yourself. Tim experienced both types of wounds. He has come out on the other side of that now and is walking wounded but complete. In this book you will find ideas of how you too can walk through painful times. Not only walk through those times but walk out of those times. Many have experienced pain and sorrow. This book is for you. This book can help you see how to address the pain that you have and allow God to speak to those areas of your life where you are overwhelmed. Pick one up and enjoy - and heal.

Here is a book written by a man who went through a very stormy winter season in life and emerged victoriously. He has bared his soul in an effort to encourage others with his message of hope...and succeeded. Though his mountaintop experience took years of grueling fortitude, it is evident his time spent in the valley prepared him to obey the call of God upon his life and helped strengthen his faith and trust.
— JCS —
I am privileged to be very close to this journey and testimony. My son and I have walked and climbed the mountains together and at times a journey together. I would highly recommend this book, because I feel it is not a personal experience but is applicable to many who may be walking a similar journey, it is quite possible at the end of reading this book you may find your answers and a closer relationship with God.
— Robert Young —
This book was an eye opener! As Christians we lose sight that even WE need salvation...going through the motions isn't enough. We judge and forget that someday we'll be judged. The author captured his journey and reminded us that we need hope, love and understanding...how a HEART of STONE had come full circle to the HEARTSTONE!

I just finished your book and it was incredible! At different times during my reading, I found myself crying, smiling, agreeing and pondering your powerful testimony. Your poignant, revealing and honest account will certainly be a wonderful support and reference for those who are experiencing their own 'Midnight Journey'. Your personal poems, the sharing of your hurts and shortcomings, your provocative questions, the myriad of scripture quotes and other references, etc. all came together in an amazing way to present your story and invite others to truly learn who our God really is, how much He loves us and how much He wants us to love, trust and follow Him.

This book is more than just an inspirational story, it's a compass helping you navigate your own life road. I read the book several times since I first bought it and I still find myself going back thru the pages that have helped bring clarity in my own personal journey. Heartstone challenged me and as a result, I also found that I, too was an imposter. This is a wonderful love story about how much our heavenly father loves us and about his amazing grace.

This is definitely one of the most clearly challenging, convicting and encouraging books I have ever read! Get it!

Thank you Tim for taking the time to share your story and advice. I have learned many lessons and approaches to life from this book that i can use with family, friends and career. Everyone needs to read this book as it's a foundation for being a better person! Thank you again Tim.

Whatever your doing right now, hit the pause button on life and join a conversation I had with Board Certified Professional Life Coach, Advanced Life Coach, and Health & Wellness Coach Lori Greene. Grab a cup of coffee, kick back and join us as we walk through places in my book Heartstone and discuss it’s message of hope.

It’s easy to feel hopeful on a good day, but many of will have to walk through dark days too. We need to live courageously from our hearts and we have to become greater than what we suffer. This is the the greater story that God is inviting us into, the story of hope.

And even when we fail…what better way is there to live?
