Life Is More Exciting With Adventure!

So few people really live life to the fullest. We get stuck in our ways and our routines and before we realize what’s happening – we start coasting through life.

Why wait for that moment to wake up? Live your life fully awake. Live your life to the fullest. It’s the only way!

Today was one of those days where my son, my nephew and I broke out of the traditional Memorial Day stuff and headed to Gunstock Mountain for a Zipline Adventure. Sure cookouts and getting together with family is fun, but sometimes you have to live outside of the box and go on adventure.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did.

 -Mark Twain

We all had butterflies standing there at the top of the summit run looking down into the mountain valley as the gate slowly opened signaling our plummet to the Pistol ski lift. One…two…three, off we went!

We soared above the trees from peak to peak, and peak to base, travelling over 1.5 miles on the longest zip line canopy tour in the continental United States! It was fast and extremely awesome. We reached top speeds of 55 mph from the summit of Gunstock towards the top of the Pistol ski lift, which is a run over 3/4 of a mile long! Yes, I said 3/4 of a mile long! From there we got on another set of lines, zipping from Pistol ski lift to the Aerial Treetop Course start near the base, another 3,809 feet!

What an adrenaline rush!

Are you stuck in the same old routine? Do something about it!

Explore, live on the edge a little, and embrace new challenges. Visit new places with your loved ones. Take the road less traveled. Don’t stick to the same old, same old. Life is more exciting with adventure!

Live each day to the fullest! Like they say – yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present. Life presents us with a lifetime of opportunities but the opportunity of a lifetime is sometimes right in front of us. Be present to enjoy each moment. Each day is a fresh start with options just waiting to be explored, so what are you waiting for?

Remember, It’s about the journey and the journey is the destination!
