I am the author of Heartstone: A Journey out of the midnight of my soul. Life can often present us with circumstances we never anticipated. The unfortunate truth is that we all have to navigate these difficult seasons with little understanding, not much experience, and a willingness to learn more about ourselves than we wanted to know. This is my personal blog and its focused on a journey we are all too familiar with, the journey of life!”
I am a man who should have lost it all but because of God’s Amazing Grace, I am a committed follower of Jesus Christ who has made it my life’s mission to see all who are hurting, lost, or disillusioned, find their redemption and restoration from a God who can, and will, rebuild the lost dreams of their fallen hearts.
If you have experienced the contact sport called “life” in any way then join the conversation because this blog is for you. Life is not a snapshot, so why do we live it that way? Live courageously from your heart!
I am a father, author, teacher, and speaker, whose life has become an example of God’s incredible depths of Grace. I am a contributing writer for various blogs and have a vision to impact all who have lost their balance on the beams of prosperity, power, and position. I know the intoxication of self indulgence and has lived under its power and control. Now free from the bondage of this addiction, I offer solutions to many of life’s toughest questions as I weave through the tapestry of life through the stories I had to live to teach.
I currently lead the information technology team at a Vermont based consulting firm that creatively applies state-of-the-art modeling and analytics to strategy and planning issues. I also serve on a team with Reach4Hope, a faith-based non-profit organization that reaches out to the homeless and needy in Concord, NH with a focus on meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those on the street.
I have also worked in the capacity of VP of Information Technology for a global provider of employer-sponsored child care, early education, and work/life solutions as well as other technology executive positions. I have served as council member for the CIO Executive Council, on the board for Nashua Children’s Learning Center and on a Work and Witness team to Panama. I have been quoted in CIO, Computer World, Information Security & CRN magazines and has published works on Servant Leadership, IT Innovation, and Vendor Relationships.

My site is built on WordPress 3.7 (self-hosted) and the Genesis 2.0 Framework. My theme is a customized version of the Copyblogger 2 premium theme by WPStuffs, a mobile responsive theme completely HTML 5 and CSS3 compliant. I customized it all myself with lots of trial and error and many late nights, but learned much and had a blast in the process!
In terms of design, I use the Lato and Oswald Google fonts. I get most of the photos for my individual blog posts from various sources that have images available as “labeled for commercial reuse” and some are taken by myself or others I know.
